Why it exists
Clarity needs more than a formula
Readability measures are useful, but they cannot tell whether content fits its audience, puts actions in the right place or protects a condition that matters. PlainSight brings those questions into one writing clarity check.
The Clarity Score is a directional view, not a certification. It helps people find barriers, review alternatives and see how individual decisions affect the content.
How it is different
Rules remain in charge
PlainSight uses deterministic measures and audience-aware rules for scoring, protections and verification. AI assistance may propose exact alternatives where it can help, but AI does not decide the score or whether a change passes PlainSight's checks.
If a proposed alternative cannot be verified, PlainSight keeps the original wording. These safeguards reduce risk, but they cannot guarantee that every meaning is preserved. Consequential content still needs careful human review.
